Primary Retinocytes

In the past couple of decades, intensive research is going on with stem cells isolated from the cornea, as a source of cell-based therapy. The limbal epithelial cells and corneal stromal cells were obtained from the biopsy sample thrown during cataract surgery of otherwise normal donors. These cells are required by various research institutes to understand the underlying mechanism of eye diseases as well as optical neuritis.

We are offering cells from the eye as per the customer’s requirements. The cells are sorted for the specific markers and expanded to a good number to use them for in vitro research. The cells can also be used for other biomedical applications like 3D culture, organogenesis as well as drug screening.
